Agnes Ntombela

Agnes is employee no. 2 of MINT Hotels, as a group, that started at the height of the pandemic in 2020. She had started her career in hospitality as a business centre administrator, then strived that one day her hard work and dedication will bring her to become a prominent figure in her industry. Agnes was also one of the first candidates chosen to participate in a leadership programme for the Department of Tourism’s Women in Tourism and received a Diploma at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

BONGANI ZULU

With a background in engineering, Bongani discovered his true passion in the hospitality industry. Starting his journey as a part-time banquet steward, his hard work, dedication, and eagerness to learn have propelled him through the ranks. Today, he proudly serves as the General Manager of the luxurious 4-star and 5-star MINT Resorts The Blyde. Originally from a small town in Mpumalanga, Bongani has embraced Pretoria as his second home—a city that has played a significant role in shaping his professional journey and success in the hospitality world.

Steven Kungwane

Growing up in Alexandra, Johannesburg, Steven had always seen himself as a go getter. From being fortunate enough to get to tour the world as a flight attendant and being the previous assistant general manager at MINT Express Sandton View, he strives for success. Steven enjoys working with people and his passion shows through his management style at MINT Express Melrose View.

SIpho Mahlangu

Born in Atteridgeville, just outside of Pretoria, then raised in Benoni, Sipho had always enjoyed being a solutionist. His passion grew further after obtaining an N5 qualification in Civil Construction and utilising his skills in his working career from being a maintenance technician to an operations manager and now, the general manager at MINT Express Sandton View.
